Rohit Patel is a Director in Meta Superintelligence Labs, where he’s building the company’s next generation of AI models. He’s known for translating complex AI concepts into clear, practical insights that resonate with both technical and business audiences.

Rohit also founded and runs a research lab, QuickAI, which builds smaller, task-specific AI models for practical impact. He also advises Baypine, a digitally focused private equity firm, helping shape their AI strategy for acquisitions across its portfolio companies. His background includes advising CEOs on analytics strategy at PwC Strategy, and building revenue-driving machine learning systems at Meta.
He holds a PhD in Game Theory from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management and degrees in Statistics from the Indian Statistical Institute. His widely shared article, “Understanding LLMs from Scratch,” reflects his passion for making AI accessible and actionable.
