Jonathan Chen

Jonathan Chen is Managing Director of AI Strategy at Board of Innovation (BOI), where he leads the firm’s U.S. practice in helping enterprises translate ambitious AI agendas into real, scalable capabilities. He brings a strategic combination of enterprise leadership, startup experience and consulting discipline to shape and operationalize AI-driven transformation.

Prior to BOI, Jonathan held senior roles across the healthcare and financial sectors—helping organisations such as Cigna and Northwestern Mutual build and scale enterprise AI functions and drive outcome-oriented growth through data and analytics.

Known for his practical focus on the outcomes you can "hang your hat on,” Jonathan emphasises end-to-end AI strategy: from business model redesign, through governance and data strategy, to change-capability and operational embedding.
