Hiek van der Scheer is Chief Data Officer at ABN AMRO, where he leads the bank's transformation into a data-driven organization, bridging business, IT, and data. Before joining ABN AMRO he was Chief Data and Analytics Officer at Aegon, with earlier roles at McKinsey and EY-VODW spanning industries from insurance and banking to telecom and energy. He holds a PhD in econometrics from the University of Groningen.
